The Recipe for How to Grow Flowers from a Rock

orange flowers

You will need:

- a flat rock (which can easily be found in your back yard),
- a small piece of floral foam (you can purchase from any craft or floral store),
- a little candle holder (tea light),
- waterproof tape,
- a piece of double sided cellophane tape,
- any type of greens (salal, pitt, leather, etc. from your garden.)
- some lovely flowers (gerbera, lilly, carnations, iris etc.)

To ensure that your flowers will last as long as possible, take a moment to properly prepare them. Remove all of the lower foliage and give each flower a fresh cut (under water, if possible). Place them in a vase filled with warm water mixed with flower food and let them sit and rehydrate for two hours. They will last much longer with a bit of tender loving care.
