A few days ago a wonderful woman from Australia (Liz) sent me an order for a friend in Saint George. Although Liz had never met Tracy in person, she felt caring and concern for her. You see, Tracy ‘s son is serving a mission in Liz’s ward about 12 hours from Sydney . She explained to me that Tracy has experienced some very difficult times in her family . . . including the death of the daughter of a close friend in an automobile accident. Tracy was scheduled for surgery, and Liz just wanted to share support and kindness to brighten Tracy ‘s day. Liz asked me to create a bright and beautiful arrangement that would bring cheer and a smile to Tracy in this difficult time, to include white and orange tulips. Through our correspondence by telephone and email I came to realize that Liz is truly a very gracious, amazing and generous person with a heart as big as all the sky. I was very pleased and touched to work with her. But the story doesn’t end there. A few hours after making the delivery I received another email from Liz. It happens that the Tracy ‘s daughter came to visit and as they were talking about the flowers she realized that we have met. She is best friends with my niece! It is such a small world!
My Dear Friends,
I need to thank you so much for the inspiration and support you all give to me. I continue to be amazed and inspired by the stories of how the arrangements that I proudly create touch the lives of loved ones, far and near! Please let me share with you one of these stories.
Talk to you soon, and have a day far beyond the ordinary….
Olga
