Since my Mom lives out of town I thought I would say a word about my Mother-In-Law and the incredible women she is. In the eight years I have known her I have seen such a strong and compassionate women. She has gone through a lot of challenges in her life but they have molded her into who she is today. My children love her to death as well as her other grandchildren. I love seeing how involved she is in serving the community and how tender her heart is to those around her. To all of us I hope we always cherish our mothers/MIL. Let us learn to say thank you more often and most of all put your arms around her and tell her how much you love her! Happy Mothers Day!!! Even though she is in her 80's now, she always makes me and my sisters know that we are still important to her. Every time I visit I can tell that she is so happy to see me. When I leave on the 2 hour drive home she always wants me to call so that she knows that I got home safely. You would think that when you get to be 50 something that you wouldn't have to report to your mother anymore! Best of all, my mom is still very interested and supportive of what I am doing. That means a lot to me. Happy Mother's Day, Mom, I love you! She is amazing!! She teaches preschool, babysits grandkids, runs a summer camp for kids, teaches boy scouts, mentors troubled youth in her home.... her whole life has been about kids! She still takes time to be a wonderful wife, takes care of her ailing father, keep a beautiful home, and stays active in church and community.
